The NPC Training Adviser programme was set up in April 2000. There are currently 27 experienced advisers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who act as NPC Training Advisers. Each is responsible for a core 'training territory'. They receive intensive training from NPC staff, together with comprehensive and bespoke education materials to allow them to deliver 'cascaded' therapeutic update workshops locally for relevant healthcare professionals.
