Following several
enquiries as to when extended independent nurse prescribers
will be able to prescibe any licensed medicine (except controlled
drugs) for any condition, the Department of Health (DH) are
hoping this will happen from 1st May 2006, pending parliamentary
approval. This will be confirmed on the DH website and
via a press release.
