The medicines management team based at the National Prescribing Centre has been helping NHS Organisations improve their medicines management services since 2001. The Medicines Management Services Collaborative (MMSC) has worked with 146 PCTs throughout England, the Hospital Medicines Management Collaborative (HMMC) worked with 44 Trusts, the Community Pharmacy Framework Collaborative (CPFC) had 28 host PCTs participating in the programme together with a number of associate PCTs and the Integrated Medicines Management Programme Phase 1(IMMP) had 25 Trusts participating. The IMMP Phase 2 is currently working with 22 Trusts from across health economies. This website aims to act as a resource both for participating Trusts and for those wishing to find out more about improving medicines management.
