A Question of Choice: compliance in medicine taking
(2nd Edition). A systematic review of compliance across
13 specific disease areas. The evidence
shows non-compliance is still a major cause
of unnecessary ill health and death.
Compliance in medicine taking - seeking the views of patients
A report of telephone based research commissioned
by Medicines Partnership from Ros Levenson
into the views of patients and their organisations
on issues that are important to them in
deciding whether and how to take prescribed
medicines. The research was commissioned
as part of the development of 'A question
of Choice'.

Medication Review
Room for Review: a guide to medication review
'Room for Review' focuses on the practice
of medication review in primary care, with
the needs of older people and people with
long term conditions particularly in mind.
The guide and tools available on this site
have been produced in response to requests
from practitioners and policy-makers for guidance
on a systematic approach to medication review,
and help in achieving and recording the medication
review milestones described in the national
service framework for Older People.

A booklet for patients to help them prepare
for a medication review - the booklet can
be viewed on the Medication Review website.
Focus on Your Health
A booklet for patients with epilepsy to help
them prepare for a regular review of their
condition and anti-epileptic medication.

Review Impact Evaluation
The results of the PCT workshop, survey and stakeholder
interviews are available in part 1 of the
evaluation published on 21st March 2005. A
second report, with results of patient focus
groups was published on 5th December 2005.
