The National Prescribing Centre is very unique in that it manages the organisation, delivery and evaluation of its national event programme through its own in house events team.
The team has considerable experience and an excellent track record of successfully organising and supporting a diverse portfolio of events, ranging from small interactive workshops to large multi-stream conferences for over 500 delegates.

The 2011/2012 event programme will be concentrating on the following topics. Elements of this programme are currently under development and details will be posted as soon as they are available.

The meetings will focus on information sharing and include updates from the Department of Health, Home Office, Care Quality Commission and NPC. There will also be a presentation from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) focussing on CD governance within an MoD establishment and an interactive case study.
These meetings are free of charge to attend for all CDAOs and their support staff within England, although places are limited and will be allocated ensuring representation from all health care sectors.
