NPC therapeutics trainers

Our Therapeutics Trainers are experienced healthcare professionals, mostly pharmacists. They have successfully completed a rigorous selection process and have demonstrated their abilities as educators and their expertise in therapeutics knowledge and clinical epidemiology.

All our trainers take part in a year-round support, development and quality assurance programme.  This includes support and training in therapeutics and teaching and education skills, combined with formal knowledge assessment, peer review and an extensive reflective component.

Some of our trainers are Local Therapeutics Facilitators (England), some (in Wales and Northern Ireland) lead local therapeutics workshops, and some lead flexible therapeutics workshops and/or teach non-medical prescribers through our partner organisation, NPC Plus
