Modular Training Packages
This forthcoming web-based training package, currently being produced by NPC Plus, supports the safe and effective use of controlled drugs, in line with regulatory changes and best practice. The six modules are designed to:
- Support and promote the safe and effective use of controlled drugs
- Highlight the changes that will need to be made both at organisation and practitioner level
- Meet the specific needs of primary care organisations and healthcare professionals working with controlled drugs in particular areas of practice
Individual modules will support the following:
- PCTs
- GP Practices
- Prescribers
- Dispensing practices
- Community pharmacies
- Nurses and midwifes
