whilst taking careful account of the changes heralded by the publication of the White
Paper -`The New NHS: |

dependable'.
The management strategy adopted for 1998/99 was to:

for all activities were used to their maximum potential |

develop new initiatives to
complement the existing programme in line with NHS reforms |

maximise the potential use
of all expertise/resources available to the NPC |
