Resource documents aim to provide useful reference
information for advisers and other key NHS staff. The output during 1998/99 built on
preliminary documents produced during the first two years. |

The third edition of the Combined Table of Contents was issued in January 1999 to health
authority prescribing advisers and directors of public health, trust senior pharmacy
managers, and regional and local drug information centres. This resource summarises, in
BNF order, all prescribing related articles published between January 1996 and December
1998 by centrally-funded publications such as MeReC, D&TB and Effectiveness
Matters. Due to its success with recipients, annual updates will continue to be provided,
and the format and circulation kept under review. |

In addition to the above, two
other resource documents were produced and distributed during the year to health authority
prescribing advisers as inserts in the Connect newsletter (see below). |
