Programme of Work

This year's programme of work was designed to build on the solid foundations developed during 1996/97. The management strategy adopted for 1997/98 was to:

  • evolve and extend existing activities
  • ensure that preparatory work for all activities were used to their maximum potential
  • develop new initiatives to complement the existing programme
  • maximise the potential use of all expertise/resources available to the NPC

For clarity, the work programme for 1997/98 has been categorised into the five main areas of work identified in the objectives, which are set out again below:

  • Information on Medicines
  • Training and Education
  • Dissemination of Good Practice
  • Information Technology
  • Informing Research and Initiatives
